8 Requirements For TSC Number Application
TSC number application is important for graduate students that have studied Bachelor or Diploma in Arts Education from universities or colleges countrywide.
Teachers Service Commission (TSC) number is basically an applicant’s registration number on the certificate of registration that a person receives within 30 days of filing or rather applying for it.
TSC is supposed to register all qualified teachers before they start teaching in any Kenyan school whether private or public.
For one to qualify in TSC number application, he or she has to meet all the requirements needed for registration.
Names of all the registered teachers are published annually.
The following are some of the important details you need to verify before you start the TSC number application process at the TSC application website:
The documents should be scanned since TSC number application is done online
1.Certified copies of your academic certificates.
This includes your;
- Degree Certificate– the certificate awarded after completion of your undergraduate course from your respective university. Its proof that you are trained and qualified to teach.
- KCSE Certificate– the certificate awarded after completion of your secondary school level of education. One can collect it from the secondary he or she attended.
- KCPE Certificate– this is awarded after completion of your primary school level of education. One can also collect it from his or her former primary school.
2. Official transcripts
After graduation one can collect his or her official transcripts from their respective universities.
The transcripts show all the grades attained in each unit studied in all the years or period studied.
3. KRA Pin
A person can get this after registering with the Kenya Revenue Authorities (KRA).
4. Good Conduct
Certificate of good conduct is a document that shows your criminal record
It is obtained from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) after applying for it.
5. Passport photo
6. ID Card/National Identity Card
7. GP 69 Medical Form
A medical form signed by a qualified doctor from a certified government hospital
8. TSC Charges payment slip
You are required to pay/deposit registration fee to their direct banking National bank of Kenya or you can pay through MPESA then scan the receipt or screenshot.
