“Who Stole From You?” Gachagua Fires Back At Raila
Raila Odinga, the nominee for Azimio La Umoja, has disputed charges that the election was rigged, according to Kenya Kwanza’s vice presidential candidate Rigathi Gachagua.
Rigathi refuted Mr. Odinga’s allegations that the elections were rigged to favor William Ruto when speaking at Mutahi Kahiga’s swearing-in ceremony as governor of Nyeri County.
In Rigathi’s opinion, the elections favored Raila more because the departing administration had supported his campaign for the presidency.
“He used to say his votes were stolen by the Government, system, and deep state, now that he is the government, who stole from him? he had chiefs, DCI officers, EACC, Matiangi, Kibicho, and Uhuru who stole from him ? who stole the elections?” Gachagua asked.
The former Mathira Mp further emphasized that he cautioned President Uhuru against pressuring Kenyans to support Raila’s campaign for the presidency by adding that Raila always sues if he loses the elections.
Rigathi reassured his supporters that the Kenya Kwanza squad would win the case, claiming it was only a minor issue.
“Matters of the case will end, and this case is not big deal, I once told president Uhuru this old man you’re forcing on us will never change, if we defeat him it is a must he will move to court, has he gone or not?” posed Gachagua.
