Two People Killed On Eve Of Election Day In Homabay County
In separate events, there have been two fatalities in Homa Bay County.
In the first incident, 47-year-old Komungu Sub-location resident Kefa Mwaya was fatally macheted.
The attackers are thought to be Ndhiwa Constituency supporters of an unknown politician.
A resident claimed, “We got a distress call regarding the incident only to find out the man passed away from deep cut injuries he had during the altercation.
In another incident, unidentified assailants killed 36-year-old Michael Odhiambo at Angiro Village in the Rangwe constituency.
According to Homa Bay County police commander Samson Ole Kinne, inquiries into the two deaths have begun.
