Teacher Arrested For Allegedly Sodomizing Three Pupils In Bomet County
After being accused of sodomizing three students between the ages of 11 and 13, a male instructor is being detained in Bomet County.
The defendant, who will be charged with the horrible crimes at Mosoriot Academy, was brought to Mogogosiek Police Station in Konoin.
The suspect, Bernard Kirui, was detained when one of the victims complained of excruciating pain and was taken to Litein Mission Hospital, where it was determined that he had been sodomized, according to Konoin police chief Tom Achiya.
“His arrest follows complaints from staff members at the school. We conducted investigations, which led to the apprehension of the suspect,” Achiya said.
Despite having a room assigned to him by the school, preliminary investigations reveal that the head of school slept in the boys’ hostel.
In response to protests from parents and the neighborhood, Koiwa Chief Emmy Ngetich stated, “We are thinking of closing the school to make room for investigations.”
The suspect will be present before the Sotik Law Courts once the police have finished their inquiries.
