Suspect Arrested In MCA Elect’s Home With Dangerous Weapons In Siaya County
At the residence of an MCA-elect, police in Siaya discovered a suspect who was in possession of unlicensed weapons.
The MCA-elect Fredrick Oluoch Omoro’s residence was visited by the suspect, John Onyango, who claimed to be looking for help.
“He arrived at the home in Murweyo Village in Sihay, Ugenya Sub County saying he needed help. He however did not disclose what the matter was,” a police report seen by Citizen Digital said.
Police from the Luanda Patrol Base, acting on a tip, discovered the suspect in possession of primitive weapons, which confirmed their growing suspicion.
“The suspect was found in possession of two knives, two hammers, ground pepper packaged in two bottles, a towel and a blanket,” police said.
After being questioned, it was revealed that the suspect had received Ksh. 1300 from a candidate who had come in second to the MCA-elect in the recently held elections.
