Saumu Mbuvi Celebrating After His Ex Boyfriend Anwar Lost Lamu Senate Seat
Saumu Mbuvi, the daughter of former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko, is jubilant at Anwar Loitiptip’s failure to win re-election as senator from Lamu.
When Saumu heard that Loitiptip had lost the seat, she immediately took to Instagram to call for a party.
Saumu Mbuvi posted on Instagram, “Congratulations to the new Lamu Senator and Women Rep. Mko wapi tuanze kusherekea.”
Loitiptip, who was running as an independent, came in second to Jubilee party candidate Joseph Githuku, who defeated six other contenders to win the seat.
Earlier, Loititip stood for reelection on the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket, but he was defeated by Francis Mugo Kariuki in the party primary.
