Rocky Start For Grade Seven Learning Over Lack Of Teachers
Learning is off to a rocky start for Grade 7 students who reported to the Junior Secondary Schools (JSS) on January 30, as parents complain about a shortage of instructors in the schools.
Parents of grade 7 students at Sinendet Primary School in Njoro, Nakuru county, are outraged because their children reported to school but, despite the government’s deployment of 30,000 teachers, there are no instructors to guide them through learning a month later.

Mr. Mburu is a dissatisfied parent who claims he went above and beyond to purchase uniforms and the necessary A4 booklets for his son, but no teacher has facilitated learning since the boy reported to school on January 30, 2023.
