President Uhuru Cast His Vote In Gatundu
Tuesday, First Lady Margaret Kenyatta and President Uhuru Kenyatta made their way to the voting location at Mutomo Primary School in Gatundu South.
He then followed the poll worker’s instructions, depositing each ballot paper in the appropriate ballot box at each stop in the polling place.
From the moment he left the station, Uhuru gave off the impression that everything would go according to plan for the entire day.
He added urged Kenyans to maintain their composure throughout the voting process, stressing that it would be free and fair.
“The process was smooth, the process did not take too long, everything seems to be working we just hope it continue like that for the rest of the day,” he said.
“Vote and vote in peace and every Kenyan and myself believe that the election shall be free and fair.”
After serving a two-year term in office, President Kenyatta will step down.
Mama Ngina Kenyatta, the mother of Kenyatta, had earlier arrived at the location to cast her ballot.
