Power Blackout To Be Experienced In Nairobi And Other Seven Counties On Tuesday 28th
Kenya Power has informed residents of several estates in Nairobi, Machakos, Uasin Gishu, and five other counties of an impending power outage on Tuesday due to planned maintenance.
According to a notice issued by the electricity company on Monday evening, the outage will last from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Parts of Umoja Innercore, Eastleigh 1st Avenue, Loresho, Mamlaka Road, Mukoma Road, Langata, and Nairobi West will be affected.
At the same time, Kenya Power announced that Machakos residents living on Mua Road will be without power during the same timeframe.
The blackout in West Pokot County will impact residents of Ortum, as well as those in Uasin Gishu’s Kapkoi and Tugen areas.
Kiambu County residents in Kihara, Gachie, Membley, and Kiwanja will be without power for eight hours, while Kwale County residents will be without power in sections of Kwale and Mtwapa.
The blackout will impact Bar Kadhiambo in Siaya County, and Bakura in Kakamega County.
