One Police Dead And One Wounded After Being Attacked By Bandits At KWS Station, Isiolo
After an attack on the KWS police station in Oldonyiro, Isiolo County, one police officer was killed by gunfire and another was wounded.
The bandits who raided the police quarter on Saturday night grabbed four rifles and many rounds of ammunition.
Hassan Barua, the police chief for Isiolo County, said that after shooting the cops, the robbers broke into the armory and grabbed the weapons.
He claimed that three individuals had been detained and that one firearm had already been found.
Barua informed the offenders that they would be taken into custody and the remaining weapons would be found.
Geoffrey Omodi, the county commissioner for Isiolo, urged police to be more vigilant and avoid providing opportunity for thieves to steal and kill people, noting that offenders would be apprehended either alive or dead.
