MP Aspirant Alleged To Have Assulted IEBC Officials Is On The Run As Police Trace Him
                Godfrey Kanoti, a candidate for the ANC Party in the parliamentary race, and two other people are being sought by police in the Khwisero Constituency of Kakamega County after they allegedly broke into a voting place.
Before destroying voting equipment, the three are alleged to have assaulted IEBC employees at the Shibinga polling location in the Kisa East Ward.
OCPD Kwisero Samuel Kogo reported that during the event on Tuesday, 9 ballot boxes were damaged.
After the altercation, Mr. Kanoti is said to have fled into hiding.
