Mother Arrested For Poisoning Her Child Out Of Poverty In Nakuru County
In custody at Keringet Police Station is a 23-year-old lady from Olenguruone, Kuresoi South, Nakuru County, who is accused of trying to kill her 4-year-old daughter.
The mother of two is accused of poisoning the PP1 student because she was having trouble taking care of her daughter, according to the mother.
The woman is being investigated, according to Jeremy Leariwala, commander of Kuresoi South Police.
At Olenguruone Subcounty Hospital, the four-year-old is getting better.
The girl’s father said that he and his wife had split up.
He claimed that up until recently, when the girl’s mother supposedly took her to attend a relative’s funeral, he had lived with his daughter. It was then that he learned about the attempted murder.
