Lupita Nyong’o On The New Black Panther Movie
Lupita Nyong’o, a Kenyan actress, will return to the big screen in the sequel to Black Panther.
Lupita appears as one of the cast members in the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie’s official teaser trailer, which was released by Marvel Studios.
“The universe of Wakanda is expanding and you have a lot to look forward to,” said Lupita Nyong’o during the unveiling of the teaser.
The movie honoring the late actor Chadwick Boseman will be released on November 11.
Chadwick, who appeared in the 2018 Black Panther movie’s first chapter, passed away in December of that same year.
After two years, the Black Panther family wants to pay tribute to the legacy Chadwick, who played T’Challa, left behind.
The cast of Wakanda Forever is seen grieving and obviously attempting to find out how they’re going to move on in the just released teaser.
“Chad’s passion and genius and his culture and the impact he made on this industry will be felt forever. We put our love for Chadwick into this film. We also put our passion,” said Black Panther: Wakanda Forever director Ryan Coogler.
“This film has a ton of action and humor. It’s also a roller coaster of a movie. It goes to new places in Wakanda that we’ve never been before but other corners of the MCU,” he added.
Nakia was portrayed by Lupita Nyong’o in the first Black Panther film. She took the role of a War Dog, a CIA agent from Wakanda.
Her task was to conduct espionage throughout the world and return intelligence to Wakanda in order to protect and inform Wakanda.
