Kuresoi Residents In Nakuru County Cry For Water Shortage
Residents in the Seguton region of Kuresoi, Nakuru County, have complained about a scarcity of water.
Locals spoke to Citizen Digital about what they called the Seguton borehole project’s delayed completion.
“The borehole drilling is finished, but there is no activity at the site,” a resident stated.
Locals are currently compelled to go for many kilometers to obtain the valuable product.
“To get water, we had to trek to Korta and Muchorwe villages. This is after at least 10 kilometers “another person stated.
They have asked Nakuru County Governor Susan Kihika to act in order to restore the area’s water supply.
“We also appeal to our Member of County Assembly Wesley Langat Kiptosha to urgently hold a meeting with those behind the project in order to expedite the process.”
