JKIA Terminals To Be Closed Ahead Of US First Lady Jill Biden Visit To Kenya
The Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) has stated that it will close its second terminal to accommodate the arrival of US First Lady Jill Biden.
The decision was issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with security authorities, according to a statement made by airport manager Abel Gogo on Wednesday.
As a result of the directive, Terminal 2 will be emptied of all aircraft and vehicles on Friday, February 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
On Sunday, June 26 from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., all operations at the same terminal will be suspended.
