India Murder Suspect Spotted In Kenya
Kenya has been identified as the primary suspect in the murder of Indian artist Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, also known as Sidhu Moose Wala.
Authorities in India claim that Anmol Bishnoi and his friend Sachin Thapan Bishnoi both left the country on fictitious passports prior to the murder of Sidhu Moosewala on May 29 in the state of Punjab’s Mansa district in broad daylight.
Additionally, Sachin was located in Azerbaijan, where he is presently being held by law enforcement. According to the Punjab Police, the MEA and Punjab Police are working together to extradite both Sachin and Anmol.
“To execute this plan, he procured passports for his brother Anmol Bishnoi and Sachn Thapan on fake particulars that were issued by Regional Passport Office, Delhi, and made them flee the country before the execution of this murder,” said Punjab additional director-general of police (anti-gangsters task force) Promod Ban.
Mansa police on August 28 also arrested Moosewala’s friends Kanwarpal Grewal and Jyoti Pandher on suspicion of the murder. Grewal and Pandher both own music studios. The former owns ‘Folk Mafia’ while the latter owns ‘Jatt Life Studios
Police suspect the murder was committed in retaliation for the shooting of youth leader Vicky Middukhera in the Punjabi district of Mohali, according to a 1,850-page charge sheet. The criminal Lawrence Bishnoi, who is thought to have planned the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala, was connected to Middukhera.
The two murder suspects’ phony passports are thought to have been obtained by Lawrence, Anmol’s brother, from the Regional Passport Office in Delhi. According to the charge sheet, Lawrence had intended for the two to coordinate and carry out the crime from abroad while going undetected and unpunished.
