I Coughed Blood After Eating A Bat; A Tiktoker Opens Up

Aq9ine, a Kenyan TikTok user, now claims that he became unwell just a few days after preparing and consuming a bat in a now-famous TikTok video.

“After siku nne after kukula bat, nilishikangwa na kihoma, a running nose for like six hours …” the Tiktoker told Youtuber Presenter Ali

“In those six hours, I had taken at least four different kinds of medication and none appeared to be working,”
The content creator who has advanced through the ranks one unusual meal at a time claimed during the interview that his struggle with an enigmatic cold grew worse over time.

Soon after, he would start to experience persistent chest pains and a persistent cough.

“When I coughed blood, I got really worried, but then I said, It is what it is, I did not go to hopital, mimi nachukia hospitali mbaya,” he added.

He admits that he used an unconventional routine to self-medicate in his rural Meru home.

“I was feeling really cold although Meru was sunny at the time, then I developed what felt like sores on my throat,” Aq9ine added.

He states that at some time, he began to lose his voice, but he persisted in self-medicating at home out of concern for his deteriorating condition.

“Nilikuwa na tuvidonda kam tonsils kwa throat, so maybe tuvidonda tumeteremka hivi chini, nikasema kama mbaya mbaya, kama nikuenda si niende?” he added.

Aq9ine, the self-proclaimed “King of Muguka,” has amassed almost 209K followers and 2.9 million views on TikTok after devouring a large rat, an egret, and most recently, a bat. It seems there is no end in sight for the muguka expert.
