Here Is Why Wetangula Wants President Uhuru To Stop Launching New Projects
Bungoma Days before the election, Senator Moses Wetangula has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to stop announcing new projects. Wetangula was speaking to supporters in Trans Nzoia County when he made the request. Wetangula contends that the head of state should be saying goodbye to Kenyans as he travels the nation rather than announcing new projects.
“I want to advise President Uhuru Kenyatta that you only have one week remaining. There’s absolutely no reason for you to roam around the country launching new projects in the last seven days of your leadership. You’re making unnecessary, cumbersome, and reckless commitments that will burden the next government . Please go around telling Kenyans goodbye,” said Wetangula.

The senator further counseled the president to beg pardon for the increase in unga and fertilizer prices.
“Ask Kenyans for forgiveness for hiking the price of unga, fuel, and fertilizers and for trying to disrupt our democracy by forcing Kenyans to vote for your your friend,” he added.
