Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jnr’s Car Involved In An Accident
The car of recently elected Makueni Governor Mutula Kilonzo Junior was involved in a car accident early on Thursday, just hours before he was sworn in.
The automobile, which is believed to have been carrying three people, left the Machakos-Wote route and crashed into a ditch.
The three passengers, who were en route to Mutula’s swearing-in event, reportedly all made it out of the car unharmed.
However, Governor Mutula was not in the vehicle at the time of the collision since he had already arrived at the ceremony’s location at Unoa grounds in Wote town.
Justice Robert Limo served as the event’s moderator, and departing Governor Prof. Kivutha Kibwana handed over the reins of government to Mutula and his acting governor Lucy Mulili.
