Diana Left Our Matrimonial Home At Any Slightest Disagreement We Had; Bahati Recalled
The first year of dating Diana Marua, according to a gospel musician, was one of the hardest.
According to Bahati, anytime he and Diana would dispute, she would always leave their home and return to hers. He made this claim in an interview with Mseto East Africa.
By doing so, Bahati would have to start again every time he went looking for her.
When asked what led to Diana moving out, Bahati responded that Diana often lamented the lack of time she spent with her husband due to his obligations as an artist and his work schedule.
“I had a lot of challenge trying to balance family and my work as an artist. At that time we had a newborn.”
Bahati claimed that he is fortunate because he has never been found out or accused of having an affair. He continued by saying that although one of his phones was password-free, Diana knew what it was for the other.
“I have never touched her phone with the purpose of snooping through because that is how you build trust and I don’t know whether she touches my phone when I am deep asleep, I will have to ask her about that.”
In response to a question regarding Diana B’s musical career, the aspirant Mathare MP said he was equally astounded to learn about her passion in the field.
“I was as shocked as many Kenyans because I didn’t think that one day she’ll wake up and want to hit the studio but she is a fast learner.” He said.
Bahati claims to have admired Diana’s assurance and style and claims that his wife is gradually honing her songwriting abilities.
In terms of her lyrics and punchlines, he continued, Diana “oozes improvement” when compared to the song they collaborated on and her debut.
“You know she is a brand on her own and I allow her to also explore different ways to reach her fans and she loves music but doesn’t really love singing as much.”
