CS Aisha’s Home Invaded By Armed Robbers In Broad Daylight
Police are looking into an incident in which three armed men stormed into Public Service, Affirmative Action, and Gender Cabinet Secretary Aisha Jumwa’s newly acquired home in Nairobi’s Loresho district at 1PM on Wednesday afternoon.
Armed with rudimentary weapons, the trio gained access to Aisha’s new home by piercing the electric perimeter wall and entering the main house through the unlocked back door.
According to a police report (under OB NO: 3/15/02/2023), the armed men then went straight to the CS’s master bedroom, looted it, and stole laptops and her gold jewelry.
They then walked to another bedroom occupied by CS Aisha’s two daughters, terrified them, and stole their mobile phones, cash, and jewelry, totaling at least KSH. 1.1 million.
During the brawl, one of Aisha Jumwa’s daughters was slightly injured.
At the time of the occurrence, the CS was not at home.
It is said that CS Aisha recently purchased and moved into her new Loresho home without informing the police.
