Anyang’ Nyong’o; Robbery Event Reported At The Kisumu Governors’ Rural Home
Following a suspected break-in at Kisumu governor Anyang’ Nyong’o’s home on Tuesday night, police in Kisumu have opened an inquiry.
At his isolated residence in Ratta village, Seme sub-county, the incident took place.
Police chief for the Nyanza region in Kenya, Karanja Muiruri, stated that they are looking into the incident and that it may have been an inside job.
The farm manager reported the event.
He claimed that several pieces of clothing and food were taken.
“Officers from a team have arrived at the location. We think it might be an inside job,” the officer stated.
Officers who were on duty that night and employees at the complex will also be questioned, according to the police.
The governor’s family was not home at the time of the occurrence.
According to the police, the family was in their other home in Kisumu’s Milimani Estate.
Two police officers are constantly on duty to protect the governor’s rural residence.
