Anestar Boys’ High School Student Dies Mysteriously In Nakuru
Jacob Kiarie Muchume, a 17-year-old student of Nakuru’s Anestar Boys High School, dies unexpectedly soon after being brought to Nakuru Medical Hospital.
The school contacted his parents at 10 p.m. on Monday to advise them that their son was ill and that their presence was required as the boy was being transferred to the hospital.
While his parents live in Nairobi, his uncle in Nakuru assumed responsibility.
The youngster was transported to Nakuru General Hospital at 11 p.m. on Monday in a critical condition, including breathing difficulty and vomiting, according to his uncle.
He discovered the student in a line waiting to be seen and quickly placed him on oxygen.
When the boy’s mother arrived at the hospital the next day at 2 p.m., he was still unconscious, trying to breathe while coughing blood drips and vomiting.
This continued on for a few moments before the boy died on Tuesday afternoon around 3 p.m.
According to the mother, her son called home a week ago to seek for money to buy medication because the school only reported that he had malaria and was constantly placing him on pain relievers, specifically Panadol.
A doctor’s report on what caused the boy’s sudden death has not yet been made public.
