A 70yr Old Woman Commits Suicide At Her Home In Kiambu County
Unknown circumstances led to the death of a 70-year-old woman by suicide at her home in Ndarugu, Kiambu County.
On Tuesday morning, according to the police, the mom went out to breakfast with her two sons before they left for work.
However, when the brothers went back in the evening, they discovered that their mother’s door had been locked from the inside and reported it to Karatu Police Station.
When police arrived on the site, they discovered that the deceased had hanged herself after locking her residence from the inside.
“No suicide note was left behind,” said a police report.
The body was removed to Gatundu Level 5 Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem as investigations get underway.
