Frank Obegi’s Mother Emotionally Broke Down and Collapse During His Burial At Their Home At Nyamira County
Frank Obegi, a blogger and social media star who was killed alongside his four friends, left his mother in the hospital.
Beatrice Nyanchama, who had become unconscious during the funeral of her son on Tuesday, June 28, was taken to the hospital for emergency care, according to Daily Nation.
During the burial, Nyanchama broke away from the other mourners and ran to her son’s grave before she passed out on a muddy path in the middle of tea bushes.
She was saved, and then her family brought her home. The beginning of the funeral is supposed to have been a time of strength for Nyanchama, and she was even singing along with the chorus.
She eventually started crying, sobbing excessively, and before going crazy. She briefly lost consciousness and was taken to the hospital for treatment; as a result, she was unable to see her son off on his last flight.
Leytone Teya, Obegi’s sole sibling, and Gilger Nyang’ate, her sister, were sobbing hysterically as they observed the brother’s farewell.
Teya even tried to disturb the funeral service by asking to speak first and prompting the clergyman in charge to intercede with prayers. According to Obegi’s family, he had a respectable life and stayed out of trouble.
Relatives of Obegi reportedly described him as a modest man who led a respectable life in a different story published on SearchKe.co.ke.
His family denied rumors that he had committed a crime, as reported by his friends, at his moving farewell. Veronica Kerubo, his aunt, characterized the deceased as a really decent person who was incapable of doing any damage.
“You cannot understand what has not befallen you. What you are hearing is not true. Frank was a very good person; he was not sick; he died in a most painful manner,” she said.
