Azimio’s Sec Gen Junet Mohamed Re-elected As Suna East MP
Junet Mohamed, a representative from Suna East, was re-elected to the National Assembly in 2022, giving him a third term.
After receiving 26,516 votes, Junet was proclaimed the victor by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
Elias Okumu, a candidate for the Democratic Action Party of Kenya (DAP-K), came in second with a pitiful 4,978 votes, and Patrick Odipo, a candidate for the Movement for Democracy and Growth (MDG), came in third with 4,808 votes.
Elijah Odhiambo, an independent, received 2,266 votes, placing him fourth overall, ahead of Hassan Bashir (1,280) and Samuel Amima (686).
